He really went the extra mile to make this trip super memorable and fun.Posted onVerified yep, totally recommend We celebrated 2 birthdays in our family by rafting the middle Ocoee with Cal. While we've been lucky enough to enjoy rafting on multiple rivers --in California, Uganda, Chile…this trip stood out. We've never "surfed" before--but Cal managed to get us in surfing position multiple times--what fun. He was adept at steering, fun to hang out with and seemed to like all the rapids (this one is my favorite, no this one, no this one). He was clearly closely tracking the other boats--helping to ensure that everyone was safe. Really a terrific guide (hi Cal's boss) and really a terrific guy (hi Cal's mom). Could not have been a better experience and will definitely be thinking about the next time we can go back. Wild Man was awesome, to say the least. Was able to guide 6 of us through some of the best parts of the river to have the craziest experience. If you are questioning who to request, definitely request him.Posted onVerified Full Day Ocoee: Wildman This was my third trip on the Ocoee with Rolling Thunder and my second with Wildman (Jack). If you’re looking for the best day on the water, request him and you’re sure to have a great time. His river knowledge and skills are second to none and let’s just say he’s earned his title for a reason. Both Rolling Thunder and Wildman are the best. Book them, you won’t regret it.
